Message from the Chief
Hello, my name is Joshua Philips and it’s my honor to be appointed as the Jonesboro Chief of Police. I am more than honored to lead these brave men and women that serve the people of this city.
Our goal is to serve and protect the people that call our city home. Serving them by providing physical assistance to calls for service, assisting them whenever we can and interacting with the public in a friendly manner to show them we are more than a uniform.
We will protect the people by going after the drug problem our city faces. By enforcing laws, and carrying out the orders of the courts. Of course a city is only as strong as the people that inhabit it!
I have an open door policy to everyone. Those within the department and the citizens it serves. If you ever have any issues or concerns. Those being about the department or no. Feel free to come by the office so we can talk about them!
